About the AOSA Approved Teacher Trainer Roster
AOSA compiled the Approved Teacher Trainer Roster in Spring 2008. Names on the list represent teachers who have taught or are approved to teach in Orff Schulwerk Levels programs. The checked boxes next to each name represent the areas and levels that the teacher trainer has indicated that s/he is approved to teach. In order to actually teach in AOSA approved certification programs, a teacher trainer’s updated vita and curricula must be on file with AOSA’s Professional Development Committee.
A checked teaching area indicates only the teacher trainer’s assertion that s/he is approved to teach that area. It is not an indicator that all documentation has actually been submitted and approved. Individual teachers may need to file additional curriculum or vita updates if they wish to teach in areas where they have not done so. Course Directors may wish to contact the Education Director to see if specific curricula have been filed.
If your name is on the Approved teacher Trainer Roster and you wish to claim approval to teach additional areas or levels other than indicated, please contact AOSA’s Education Director for more information, education@aosa.org.
If your name does not appear on the Approved Teacher Trainer Roster and you feel it has been left off in error, please contact the Education Director.
If you were late in submitting updated vita and curriculum information, you may submit it using the Vita and Curriculum Update Form which can be downloaded from the Professional Development page of the AOSA Web site. Send the form in electronic format only (no paper copies will be accepted) to the Education Director. The online roster will be updated in September and March of each calendar year.
